At the Annual Conference for the Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children (VAAEYC), Christina Shawn will be presenting ways to enhance phonological awareness, specifically with rhyming skills, in young children. With easy to apply, specific strategies, Christina will help teachers turn their read alouds into literacy boosting experiences.

Christina is an author, reading specialist, and literacy coach.
